I have farmed these at the base of Skettis in the river between Terrokar Forest and Shadowmoon Valley. I caught them more often than those Barbed Gill Trout. Pity they're worthless. Комментарий от deskchairlight
Keep them just incase blizz adds some use for them, then you can sell them for big $$ when it first comes out, jaggal and shadow pearls had no use until the upcoming patch where JCs can use them i'm glad i saved a few should make a few quick bucks.If you're worried about space make a level 1 alt and send them all to him.

Ok, now I kinda wanted to keep it a secret, since it's a big one, but I want to be helpful and contributing, so I'll give what I know ;)This is how it goes:You need to have a stack of 20 of those(Felblood Snapper) in your inventory.Then you need to catch Mr. Pinchy.Then while you have a stack of 20 Felblood Snapper in your inventory, use Mr. Pinchy, and you must be in Shadowmoon Valley, and it must be between 00:00 and 06:00 when you do that.Now, if you do that, there's a chance you'll summon Luminous Mr. Pinchy, a rare elite boss.When you kill him he may drop "El's Extreme Anglin' Pole", a fishing pole with +75(!!) Fishing skill! :DLuminous Mr. Pinchy will disappear after 10 minutes, so you must kill him and loot him fast.When he's alive he'll use "Entrap Fishermen" which will mind-control all people with fishing gear(fishing pole?) equipped in Outland(haha XD), Forcing them to defend Luminous Mr. Pinchy with their fishing poles.

Don't be ignorant, Wembly.Evil Bat Eyes, and the items Syladen mentioned were gray since release. Blizzard fully intended for them to be that way, and they still were that way after Darkmoon released. A few weeks afterward, they finally updated the item quality.

These fish currently have no use besides being Pet Food for hunters. Probally the cheapest pet food for Fish Eaters. They're fished in Shadowmoon Valley and Hellfire Penn. If you see green, and you fish, you're probally going to get a bunch of these fellas. Theres a fishing spot on the border of SMV and Terrokar Forest where you can fish these babies and there isn't a Minimum Fishing requirement to fish there, 74,45ish. All you get are These and Barbed Gilled trout.. But its a good way to get "free" food/water and Pet foods without a mage.

As of patch 4.2, I just fished in the Pools of Aggonar in Hellfire Peninsula in the green waters, specifically at 40,30 and caught it first cast. I then casted 9 more times out of curiosity and caught 5 more felblood snapper and 4 barbed gill trout. Fishing skill 525 + 40 fishing pole. Didn't use a lure. Go there and you WILL get one unless they change that in another patch. As of 4.2, go there and get it. GL on the Limnologist achievement. I also submitted a screenshot of the area =D

Рыболовные дейлики старины Барло
Для достижения Старина ры-Барло необходимо выполнить 5 разных дейликов великого рыбака. Дейлики не обязательно каждый день разные, иногда могут повторяться, поэтому не факт, что на них уйдет всего 5 дней.
Сам старина стоит недалеко от Шаттрата и ловит рыбку на озере Сильмир
Дейлик первый: "Кроколиски в городе"
Нас попросят выловить в воде Штормграда или Оргримара кроколисков, которых повыпускали туда доверчивые детишки.
Квест делается не сложно, бежим в Шаттрат, через телепорт отправляемся в Шторм или Огри. Также кроколиск ловится в Стальгорне, хотя в квесте это не указано, можно отправится туда, заодно попытать счастья поймать Старого хитрюгу.
Сам процесс вылавливания занимает от 1 до 20 минут, тут уж как повезет.
В Шторме ловится в порту и в каналах между Торговой площадью и кварталом магов. В Оргриммаре можно поймать везде, где есть вода. Пойманного кроколиска относим Старине и получаем награду.
Дейлик второй: "Поймай бандюгу":
Замечательный квест, делается здесь же, в Террокаре. Необходимо поймать хитрого черноперого ерша. Водится он в проточной воде, т.е. в речке, поэтому в озере ловить бесполезно. Ловится недолго, приблизительно в координатах 50.30, у деревни Туурем. Ловим ершика и топаем/едем/летим сдавать квест.
Дейлик третий: "Та самая рыбка":
Опять-таки далеко бежать не придется, нужно выловить самую большую ильную рыбу, которая водится в Награнде, в 2 самых больших озерах, можно понемногу передвигаться по берегу, если не хочет ловится. Не обязательно ловить в косяках рыбы, ловится и просто в воде.
Дейлик четвертый: "Ловить креветок – это не жук чихнул" :
Здесь нужно отправиться в Зангратопь, ведь там водится много разной рыбы. Но вот только не она нам нужна, а гигантские креветки. Хотя, какими бы гигантскими они не были, ловить их на крючок не выйдет, а поэтому надо применить одну уловку: распотрошить колючеусую форель – и найти в ней пару креветок, если повезет. Нам подойдет именно колючеусая форель, выловленная в Зангратопи.
Дейлик пятый:"Филе сквернокровного луциана":
Как и все прочие, квест делается недалеко, в Долине Призрачной Луны или на Полуострове Адского Пламени. Необходимо поймать на крючок Чудовищного сквернокровного луциана. Ловится эта ядовитая рыбина в любых водоемах этих двух локаций, поэтому выбирайте тот, который больше по душе.
Необходимо заметить, что дейлики Старины Барло даются абсолютно рандомно, и вы можете несколько раз подряд получать один и тот же, так что если выполняете их только для ачивки, брать тот, который выполняли не обязательно. Из сумки, которую дают за квест "Кроколиски в городе"( и только из нее, все остальные сумки, хотя и имеют такое же название, содержат другой лут), могут с высоким шансом выпасть:
- Ведро с Зубастиком ;
- Ведро Ворчуна;
- Ведро со смердыхом;
- Ведро проглота;
Все питомцы имеют одинаковую модельку, но отличаются цветом. Все они засчитываются в достижение Дружеская толпа и далее
Рыболовные дейлики Марсии Чейз из Даларана
Марсия Чейз, квесты которой необходимо выполнить для достижения Марсианская рыбалка, стоит в Даларане у фонтана, недалеко от банка. Увидеть это место можно издалека по игрокам, который ловят монетки из фонтана. Марсия Чейз рандомно каждый день будет нам предлагать один из пяти квестов:
"Рыба-призрак":
Марсия Чейз попросит раскрыть секрет рыбы-призрака, которая исчезает на свежем воздухе. Поймать рыбу можно на всем побережье Слияния Рек в Низине Шолазар. Это вообще "рыбное место", так что во время ловли рыбы-призрака можно поймать и другую рыбу и медуз, полезных в кулинарии и просто неплохо уходящих с аука. Ловить рыбу-призрака не обязательно в лунках с рыбой, ловится она и в открытой воде. Главное не прозевать рыбку и скушать её в течении 1 минуты, иначе она исчезнет с инвентаря. Когда проглотите рыбку, станете невидимым ненадолго, и квест выполнен. Кстати, травники, не зевайте, по всему побережью постоянно респавнится Тигровая лилия.
"Густая кровь":
Нужно поймать ужря-кровопийцу, который водится в Борейке. Рыбка очень любит кровь, как можно понять с её названия, поэтому приманкой нам послужит кровь несчастной зверушки. Убиваем какое-нибудь животное, и, когда повеситься дебафф "Кровь животного" топаем к водичке. Смываем с себя эту кровь (желательно так, чтобы в том месте потом можно было рыбачить) и на воде появляется красный круг. Вот в нем-то нам рыбку ловить и надо. Также, если видите на воде такой кровавый круг, можете воспользоваться им. Да, и не попадайтесь на глаза Д.Э.Г.О.Ж. когда на вас висит дебафф!
"Звезда сточных вод":
На мой взгляд один из самых легких даларанских дейликов. Отправляемся в Стоки Даларана через колодец в городе или через один из проходов, по дороге я бы посоветовала вам выпить Эликсир клоаки, который имеет 30% шанс того, что вы станете Клыккаром, (+50 к рыбной ловле на 10 минут). А в стоках уже в любом удобном месте ловим квест итем.
"Обезручен!":
Замечательный гуманный квестик о трагедии в даларанской тюрьме – особо опасный заключенный отгрыз руку одному из охранников и выбросил ее в воду. И теперь нам эту руку нужно выловить. Ловить её можно на всем побережье Нордскола, главное, чтобы локация была "Ледяное море". Также ловится у Аметистовой крепости в Даларане (она же и подразумевается под тюрьмой). Конкретно нам нужно выловить Раздувшегося скользкого угря, открыв которого можем получить итем откушенная рука. Этот дейлик сдается не Марсии Чейз, а Олисарре Доброй .
"Опасный деликатес":
Нужно принести 10 тушек террорели, которая водится в Озере Ледяных Оков. Ловится в любом водоеме локации. Проблемой могут стать только игроки противоположной фракции и то, что вы находитесь в пвп зоне).
Примечание: Ни один из квестов не будет выполнятся (просто не будет ловится квестовая рыба) когда вы состоите в рейде! В группе все квесты выполняются.

Since these are daily quests, it will not be tracked prior to 3.0. Once the patch goes live you'll still need to do all five quests. With the infrequency of the croc one, this may take a couple weeks for people to finish.

After patch 3.0.2, the drop rate on nearly all of the fishing dailies is 100%. You also get a regular fish in addition to the quest fish. It does not apply to Shrimpin' Ain't Easy, but is true of the 4 single-fish quests. Комментарий от zzmorriss
this quest "Felblood Filet" does not spawn anymore for the fishing daily as of patch 3.0.2 - I have done my fishing dailies every single day since achievement patch and have not gotten it once - When before the achievement patch I got it on an average of 2 times a week.Achievement is broken

I have done all five quests since 3.0.2 and got the achievement tonight. None of them are currently broken - the only problem is that they work too well. 100% drop on first cast.Poster above was probably in a raid group or fishing in the wrong spot. :^P

He's a tricky old man. I had shrimpin ain't easy and bait bandits come over and over for a good week. Got lucky with crocs in the city and the one that got away coming right after each other. Waiting for felblood fillet now for my Salty title. I suppose they all have the same chance of showing, but when you're missing just one 20% chance seems very low :) Комментарий от Volcan

As of 3.1.0 you can fish anywhere with any skill. Me and my friend were fishing for the felblood fillet and my friend caught it with a skill of 247.I'm not sure of the exact level required to fish in Hellfire, but perhaps now you can do all fishing dailies with any skill? Although a higher skill is still recommended, else you might be fishing a long time :)

ye the same problem, i dont see the guy in coast, im allready fishing in northrend and done all q there, but cant find the q giver in outland, maybe its removed or there is soem spcial requirements for it

For those stuck on this for Salty I feel your pain. I've done all the achievements even the ones considered the most difficult but this single achievement is holding me back. For the most of the past month I've been doing this daily since the release of Cataclysm and he has not once done Crocolisks in the City. In fact as a tidbit for those doing this I have seen really odd quest rates:Shrimpin' Ain't Easy - 16 timesThe One That Got Away - 11 timesFelblood Fillet - 2 timesBait Bandits - 2 timeCrocolisks in the City - 0 times
The first week of fishing he gave me four different quests. In the following two and a half weeks he alternated between two quests everyday.
Come on Barlo be a bro give me Crocolisks in the City! :)
Edit: Contacted a GM yesterday after getting Shrimpin' Ain't Easy seven times in a row. The GM hinted that the quests actually aren't random per se stating, "The dailies from Barlo are random in a sense but I cannot give you any more information than that." I'm going to keep updating my quest numbers until I complete the achievement.

Lavis I too am in the same situation as you I am only missing the Crocs in the city daily for my Salty title. I have had some insane luck with many of these cheeves. Any who I just did the daily and I got "The one that got away" I started this cheeve this week and so far I have gotten each daily quest this week except for this one today (this is the second time I got this quest this week). Not sure if time etc plays a factor just thought I would let you know which quest I got.

I have been working achievements lately as the dailies were getting to be boring...so as I read up on this achievement I was worried it would take forever flying to shatt everyday to get the crocolisk quest. Now I do notice the latest comment was last January...but today I started the fishing dailies of Old Man Barlo and the first quest to drop...Crocolisks in the city, went to org cast literally 7 times in the Valley of Spirits and caught my baby croc, when turned in I received "toothy" the baby croc :) Of course now I probably jinxed myself and one of the other quests will be impossible to get LOL

Just started the Barlow quest line and got the crocolisk quest first up.If there was a problem, it seems to have been fixed.If it was random as I suspect, nothing has changed but my luck!

So I've been doing these dailies every day for the last 3 weeks. I've just come back from a break and already had 4/5 quests. The only one I need was Felblood Fillets, not once has it dropped. Crocolisks in the City has dropped 4 times, Bait Bandits and Shrimpin' Aint Easy have both dropped 2 or 3 times in a row, and many more times singularly. I'm getting mad, so mad.

All though i am an 85 now, i just did this fishing daily for the first time ever...got crocolisk one and in my rewards....i got Toothy :) I am very happy. I wish i had done these as i was lvling but in and case i am now and i like it. To the ppl who put coords and better ways to do quests and achievements....TY ! After first deciding to do these quests (this week), I was lucky enough to snag three different ones (crocs included) in a row, a day of a double, and then a 4th daily, and now today another double.Hoping for tomorrow's bandit quest, and then I'm 1 scavenger node (intentionally done) from Salty (as I caught Mr Pinchy this morning, on which 3rd use I got the prize), and the rare fish one after 2,000 casts in Mulgore.
Once I get the last daily, I will be heading to my last scavenge (when loads of guildies are on), so my crew can see me snag Salty!

Go into the premade finder and join a Pit Daily group or anything and it will switch you to another server with another opportunity getting the quest you need. I got it first try with this method. This should work with bnet friends too as long as it puts you in their server. Every server has its own quest up. Комментарий от tr1nx
For anyone seeking the 'Salty' title:I completed all the dailies but "Crocolisks in the City" was evading me, on and off, for about a month. It just wasn't spawning for me. I read about server hopping and I first tried it on a Wednesday for probably 2 hours to try to get the quest to appear with no luck.
On a Wednesday, I only got the following quests to appear:
-The One That Got Away-Bait Bandits-Shrimpin' Ain't Easy
I tried it again on Thursday and I got both "Felblood Fillet" and "Crocolisks in the City" to spawn within 10 server hops.
I know its anecdotal but its my 2 cents. Hope it helps and good luck!

Hope someone still reads this and can help me. Does the Server Hop still give me the chance for another daily? I tried it for good 30 minutes now and got only the same quest. Do i need to hop to a special other Realm or Realmpool? ru.wowhead.com
